The Ireland Woman’s Deaf Futsal team met up with their Republic of Ireland counterparts this week with both sides containing a number of Donegal stars.

Drumbar United’s Teagan O’Reilly and  Ramelton native Catherine Grier, who plays for Bonagee United, are part of the international side that travels to the World Deaf Futsal Championships in Brazil in November.

The Republic of Ireland will host Northern Ireland on Saturday in the UEFA Nations League at the Aviva Stadium to kick off their Group B1 opener in League B.

The squad will then travel directly after that first game to Budapest to take on Hungary on Tuesday, September 26 in the Hidegkuti Nándor Stadium.

The St Johnston native, who is now on the books of Blackburn Rovers, returns after a public fallout with former manager Vera Pauw.
