Antonio Tuta has signed for Kerry FC having left Finn Harps last month.
The Croatian goalkeeper has opted to stay in the League of Ireland.
Tuta played seven times for Harps in the latter part of 2023, having been recruited by then manager Dave Rogers following an injury to Tim Hiemer.
The 28-year-old has been drafted in by Kerry, who are now entering their second season in the League of Ireland.
“I came to Kerry with the ambition to fight for the play-offs and to help the team with my experience,” Tuta said.
“I know that the team is very young and that for this kind of league you also need experience. Having played in the league last year, I already know what the division is all about and how we can pick up points.”
Tuta spent his most recent spell on the books at Hrv Dragovoljac in Croatia before moving to Harps.
Tuta also had stints in Slovenia, Iceland, Austria and Bulgaria prior to his arrival in Ireland.
