Pobalscoil Ghaoth Dobhair celebrated a triumphant afternoon as they clinched victory against Gaelcholáiste Reachrainn, successfully defending their title as champions in the Under 17 Boys Junior ‘B’ National Cup held in Dundalk.
The team from Donegal showcased their prowess in the first half, with Brian Mac Phaidin netting two goals, one from a penalty.
Jordi Ó Gribben extended their lead with a third goal after the half-time break.
Although Gaelcholáiste Reachrainn managed to narrow the gap with a goal from Odhran O’Conaill, the outcome was never in question. Pobalscoil Ghaoth Dobhair secured their win decisively as Ó Gribben and Fionn Ó Cnaimhsi sealed the deal with late goals.
