Finn Harps have been handed some good news with injured duo Max Hutchison and Kevin Jordan not requiring surgery.

Hutchison has not played since limping out of the 0-0 draw with Kerry in March after injuring an ankle.

Jordan has yet to feature in a competitive game this season due to a leg injury picked up in pre-season.

“We have received news that they don't need surgery,” Harps manager Darren Murphy told Donegal Live. “That's huge for them.

“Kevin is probably four or five weeks from a return to the pitch, but he is back running.

“Max, we feared the worst, but he was in Santry on Thursday and the news is that he can return to rehab and see how he is in four or five weeks time.”

Conor Tourish continues to sit out because of a groin injury and Murphy noted that the Letterkenny man 'didn't respond well' this week.

Aaron McLaughlin is pencilled in for a scan on a thigh injury in the coming week while Matthew Makinson has collected four bookings and is walking on a suspension tightrope.
