Christy Burke and Gerard McBrearty will take charge of Letterbarrow Celtic this season
Letterbarrow Celtic has today announced the appointment of former captain Christy Burke and veteran centre-forward Gerard McBrearty as the joint managers of the senior team for the 2024/25 season.
The club suffered relegation from the First Division last season having failed to win a single game in the league, snatching only three points in the process over 18 matches.
Taking to social media this morning, the club welcome two of their former players to the sideline by saying: "Christy's leadership and Gerard's winning mentality will certainly be key to a successful season in the upcoming Second Division campaign. The lads have been busy working behind the scenes."
