Mulroy College who lost out in Tuesday's semi-final

Mulroy College made their exit from the FAI Schools Senior B Girls National Cup on Tuesday.

The Maria Ryan-managed Mulroy were defeated in the semi-final by St Patrick’s College of Lacken Cross, Mayo.

Mulroy defeated Rosses Community School in Friday’s Ulster final and headed for Ballisodare in confident tune.

Mulreaney has kept goal for the Ballybofey club in pre-season, most recently on Tuesday night in their 1-1 draw against Sligo Rovers

However, they fell a goal behind on 25 minutes when Deirbhle McHale drilled home from close range after good work by Aoibhin Bilbow.

Just before half-time, Bilbow was denied by Leah McLaughlin, the Mulroy goalkeeper.

On the restart, Bilbow again went close with McLaughlin equal to her attempt.

St Patrick’s College made safe their place in the final in the 77th minute when Keeva McDonnell managed to make enough space in a crowded penalty area to slot home.
