Drumbar United go down fighting in SFAI U-14 Girls National Cup

Drumbar United lost out in the SFAI U-14 Girls National Cup last 32 this afternoon against Tipperary Town.

A very tight and evenly matched game with Tipperary scoring the decisive goal in the closing minutes of the game through Irish international Leah Mcgrath. Drumbar had their chances toward the end to force it to extra time but it wasn't to be.

"To say how proud we are of our Ulster champions, word couldn't describe! The girls and management have done an amazing job and still have a full season ahead to look forward to," read a post from Drumbar. "Well done ladies and very well done to you all on making it to the last 32 of an all Ireland competition in your very first attempt. Congratulations to The impressive Tipperary Town and best of luck to you all in the last 16 and the remainder of the competition."
