Former Finn Harps striker Tunde Owolabi is the toast of Inchicore tonight having bagged a hat-trick for St Patrick’s Athletic in their 3-0 win over Bohemians in the SSE Airtricity League Premier Division.

Last season, Owolabi fired three for Finn Harps against St Pat’s and tonight he fired three for the side managed by Tim Clancy.

The Belgian was Harps’ player of the season last year and had only scored for the Dubliners on the opening night of the season against Sligo Rovers. However, tonight, on his second league start, the 26-year-old took the opportunity with both hands.

Owolabi opened the scoring on five minutes after a slip from Bohemians defender Ciaran Kelly, getting in on James Talbot to fire home. In first half injury time he added a second with another powerful strike across the Bohs goalkeeper and completed his treble from the spot in the 68th minute. St Pat’s remain in fourth place in the Premier Division.
