There has been no report made to Gardai following an incident of racial abuse towards Finn Harps defender Ethan Boyle last Friday night.
The player was subjected to racist abuse during a 3-1 SSE Airtricity League Premier Division defeat by Drogheda United at Head in the Game Park.
Drogheda United officials identified the perpetuator and ejected the person from the ground. The club say the individual in question will not be welcome to attend Drogheda United fixtures in future.

Finn Harps commended Drogheda’s swift action and said: ‘Racism has no place in our game.’
Drogheda United condemned the incident, confirming that the person will be banned from attending the club’s matches.
No legal proceedings have been enacted in the matter.
A spokesperson from the Garda press office told Donegal Live: “No such complaint has been made to An Garda Síochána at this time.”
