Michael Lynch playing for Donegal against Armagh in an All-Ireland SFC qualifier.
Goalkeeper Michael Lynch has signed for NIFL Championship side Ballinamallard United.
Lynch, who was on the Donegal senior football squad in 2022, has been announced by the Ferney Park outfit.
The 25-year-old was previously on the books of Finn Harps, Derry City and Institute.
In more recent seasons, Lynch - who plays his club Gaelic football with Gaoth Dobhair - has been understudy to Shaun Patton on the Donegal panel.
The St Johnston native rose to prominence with his native Kildrum Tigers before signing for Finn Harps in late 2012.
In 2014, he moved to Derry City and stayed there until the summer of 2015.
Lynch has been on the books of Kildrum again since and in 2020 starred as they won the Brian McCormick Cup with a 1-0 win over Cappry Rovers.
Lynch has been recruited to the Mallards by manager Harry McConkey whose squad contains the likes of Donegal men BJ Banda - who hit 19 goals last season - and Ronan McKinley, while Patrick Ferry spent the latter part of the 2021/22 season on loan at the club.
