Tunde Owolabi was a popular figure at Finn Park before joining St Patrick's Athletic last year but is now on the lookout for a new club having parted company with the south Dublin side

Former Finn Harps striker Tunde Owolabi has left St Patrick's Athletic.

Owolabi scored 10 goals for the Ballybofey side in 2021, having formerly played for FC United of Manchester and Hamilton Academical.

Having left Finn Park in the close season, he joined the Richmond Park side but scored only four goals over the course of the campaign in the SSE Airtricity League Premier Division - three of which came in a Dublin derby win over Bohemians. 

"Farewell St Pat's," the Belgian tweeted. "Not the way I would have hoped the season to have gone but we learn, improve and move forward. To the fans, your support was incredible. Loved playing in front of you guys. Wishing the club all the very best for the upcoming season. Ciao"
