Deep sadness has been expressed following the sudden death of Rev. Fr. James Anthony Boyle from Drumletterfin, in Inver.
Removal from Gallaghers Funeral Home, Station Road, Mountcharles will take place this Monday evening (December 19) at 6pm, going to his late residence (eircode F94 Y248).
Reposing there until 10pm this evening, and on Tuesday December 20, from 2pm until 10pm. Funeral Mass takes place in Frosses on Wednesday at 1pm.
A spokesperson for the Raphoe Diocese told DonegalLive: "We are all shocked to hear of the sudden death of Fr Boyle. Fr Boyle was retired and moved home at that time."
They confirmed that the late Fr Boyle was not a priest of the Raphoe Diocese.
