Michael Harris has penned a new contract at Institute
Michael Harris has been rewarded with a new contract at Irish League side Institute.
The Convoy man has been in superb form for promotion-chasing Institute since making the move from Finn Harps last summer.
Harris exited a two-year contract at Harps in July to move to the Irish league Championship outfit.
The 21-year-old has scored seven goals in 21 appearances for the Drumahoe side.
Institute said: “Michael came in at the start of this season and has excelled, scoring seven goals and being one of our main attacking threats.”
‘Stute, managed by former Derry City midfielder Kevin Deery, are second in the Playr-Fit Championship, two points behind leaders Dundela, but with two games more played.
Harris penned a two-year deal with Harps in 2023, having returned from a short spell with Colorado Rapids 2 in the United States.
Before moving to America, Harris was on the books of Derry City.
