Two very well created and finished goals were enough to send Donegal to the Ulster semi-final after a seven point win over Fermanagh in Ballybofey.
DONEGAL2-12
FERMANAGH0-11
Both goals were expertly and clinically finished by Odhran Mac Niallais, but the big talking point of the game was the straight red card picked up by Neil McGee just before half-time.
Fermanagh were awarded a penalty as a result of the incident but Sean Quigley's spot kick was easily saved by Mark Anthony McGinley.
Fermanagh's chances seemed to go downhill after the miss and Donegal, after getting the second goal, inside ten minutes of the restart, had it easy to the finish.
Scorers - Donegal: Odhran Mac Niallais 2-1; Patrick McBrearty 0-3,1f; Eoin McHugh, Martin O'Reilly 0-2 each; Frank McGlynn, Martin McElhinney, Michael Murphy (f), Colm McFadden (f) 0-1 each.
Fermanagh: Tomas Corrigan 0-7,7f; Barry Mulrone, Eoin Donnelly, Sean Quigley, Ryan Jones 0-1 each.
