The day has arrived!
The biggest ever game hosted in Donegal takes place today at 3.30 in MacCumhaill Park with the meeting of Donegal and Tyrone before a full house and a place in the All-Ireland semi-final at stake.
With another Ulster side, Monaghan, waiting in the semi-final, Donegal and Tyrone will battle to be in the shake up for that last four meeting in Croke Park on Sunday next.
The question being asked by Donegal supporters all week is: Will Eoghan Bán Gallagher be fit to play?
We won't know that until around 3.15 today.
There are question marks also over the availability of Ronan McNamee (who has strong Donegal links) for Mickey Harte's side.
Donegal go into the game as slight underdogs, but it is a measure of the closeness of the tie that the bookies are finding it hard to separate them.
There have been a couple of testy encounters between the sides in MacCumhaill Park in recent years and today's game is likely to be just as tense and not for the faint hearted.
Donegal lost their last two championship games against Tyrone and have ground to make up from last year's nine point reverse in the Ulster semi-final.
But they have improved immeasurably this year and will be all out to keep their unbeaten record at the venue.
Let the action begin!
