Geraldine McLaughlin . . . out with hand injury
Donegal Ladies have been dealt a severe blow to the league ambitions with news that Geraldine McLaughlin will be out for a number of weeks with a broken bone in her hand.
The Termon sharpshooter, who has been back to top form this year, picked up the injury at training, it is learned.
With Donegal riding high at the top of the Division One table and already qualified for the semi-finals, hopes of a league title were rising. However, it looks as if they will have to plan without McLaughlin for the league.
It is expected that she will be in plaster for four weeks at least.
