Three Donegal women, six homes and a whole lot of mess!

Is Mise le Mess is back for a second series on TG4
The hugely entertaining trio of Síle Ní Duibheannaigh, Colleen Nic Aodha and Derena Uí Dhochartaigh are back for a second series of Is Mise le Mess on TG4, bringing their unique combination of humour, friendship and hard work to homes across Ireland.
The three women from the Donegal Gaeltacht are on a mission to help people reclaim their homes from clutter, chaos and years of accumulated possessions. But Is Mise le Mess is about much more than cleaning. Along the way, the women meet wonderful characters, discover extraordinary stories and prove that a good clear-out can sometimes make a real difference to people's lives.
At the heart of Is Mise le Mess is the wonderful chemistry between Síle, Colleen and Derena. They aren't afraid of hard work, they certainly aren't afraid to speak their minds, and wherever they go, there's always plenty of craic. Their warmth and humour turn what might seem like an ordinary household chore into an entertaining and often touching encounter with people and their lives. This series, narrated by Joe Ó Dónaill takes the team from the Dingle Peninsula to Donegal, Belfast and Omagh, with six very different households and plenty of surprises along the way.
In Dún Chaoin, County Kerry, the women visit Toose Mac Gearailt, a much-loved local character whose home is in need of some attention. With Easter approaching, the team get to work bringing a little order to the house, although Toose has his own ideas about what should stay and what should go!
In Dunfanaghy, schoolteacher Amy has a garage that has become a dumping ground for just about everything. The women take on the challenge of clearing it out and creating an organised space where Amy can finally find what she's looking for.
The team then head to Belfast's Holy Lands, where five young Irish-speaking students share a house renowned for its parties. The lads are clever enough, but cleaning isn't exactly their greatest talent! What follows is a hilarious encounter between the five young men and the three Donegal women as they attempt to transform a student dumping ground into something resembling a home.
Also in Belfast, Rosie and her partner Declan are preparing for the arrival of their first baby. With a kitchen and spare room to clear and an office to transform into a nursery, the women have plenty to do. This episode ends with a particularly lovely moment as Rosie and Declan welcome their new baby into the world.
Back in Gaoth Dobhair, the team visits bachelor Pádraig, helping him give his home a much-needed fresh start. As always, the cleaning provides plenty of opportunities for conversation, laughter and a little gentle persuasion.
Finally, the series finishes with a Christmas special in Omagh, where Aoife and her three children are getting ready for the festive season. The women help the family introduce a cleaning schedule, get the house organised and put up the Christmas tree, bringing the series to a suitably festive conclusion.
*Produced by Belfast-based Ronin Films for TG4 and supported by Northern Ireland Screen’s ILBF, the second series of Is Mise le Mess celebrates friendship, family and community, and reminds us that sometimes a little help — and a lot of laughter — can go a very long way.
The shows begins on Wednesday, November 4, at 8:30pm on TG4 and the TG4 website.
