The Donegal Town Pier Car Park is due to be closed from 7:30pm until 11pm
The Donegal Town Pier Car Park will be closed due to Storm Bram.
The closure will take place between 7:30pm and 11pm tonight as Mét Éireann are predicting a “high tide and storm surge”.
Donegal is under a Status Orange Wind Warning and a Status Red Marine Warning until 9pm tonight. Donegal County Council have activated their Severe Weather Assessment Team and is continuing to monitor the evolving situation.

Water Safety Ireland is appealing to the public to prioritise safety and avoid putting themselves, or emergency responders, at unnecessary risk. Storm conditions significantly increase the danger in areas that are typically considered safe. Coastal paths, piers, harbours, riverbanks, and inland waterways can become treacherous in stormy conditions.
