Noreen McGarvey's family are hosting a table quiz in her memory in Annagry
The late Noreen McGarvey will be remembered at a charity quiz.
Cllr McGarvey of Meenmore, Dungloe, a Burtonport native, passed away peacefully on Thursday, December 28, in the care of the staff of the Donegal Hospice.
Her family are hosting a table quiz in her memory on Wednesday, April 3, at 9pm in Caisleain Oir, Annagry.
Proceeds are in aid of “Shout cancercare” - Sligo Hospital Oncology Unit Trust - and the Donegal Hospice. Teams of four at €5 per person.
“This cause deserves the wholehearted support of the area and also to say thanks for the excellent care that Noreen received,” reads the Burtonport local notes.
