There is always a sense that the festive season is truly underway in Donegal when the Abbey Singers take to the stage for their annual concert. And this will feel more true than ever this year, with the Abbey Singers Annual Christmas Concert taking place on the same evening at the big switch-on.
As well as a fantastic selection of joyously performed songs from the Abbey Singers themselves, the Tirchonaill Youth Choir under the direction of Berni Canny will bring their beautiful performances to the evening.
There will be a very special guest for this year’s event, with renowned harpist Valerie Frewen Perri adding a magical element to the programme of entertainment.

The concert takes place in the Abbey Hotel on Thursday, December 4, with doors opening at 7.30pm. Admission is €10 with this year’s donations going to St Agnes Community Inclusion Hub, Donegal Town.
