The Big Sing - choirs gala!

If you're a fan of choirs, make your way to the Blue Haven, Kilcar at 5pm this Sunday for the Big Sing concert.

A fantastic programme is on offer from the Donegal Youth Choir, junior choirs from Carrick, Dungloe and Letterkenny, and special guests The Bluestack Chorale, with solos from Aisling Sharkey, Cadhla Boyle and Ciara Doherty, and a duet features Joni-Kay and Aodhan Gavigan.

The concert is organised by the Donegal Music Education Partnership (DMEP) which delivers music and voice lessons to almost 500 children and young people, and also has 250 people in performing groups. It is part of the Donegal Education and Training Board.

Martin McGinley of DMEP, said, “This is one of the biggest concerts of the year for the choirs involved and they’ve been working hard for it. There are some wonderful treats in store and a big range of material, including songs from hit films such as Frozen and some beautiful choral standards.”
