EUROSPAR Dungloe has teamed up with Operation Transformation to help customers stick to their New Year’s resolutions and feel great in 2014.

The Donegal supermarket is offering customers the chance to lose weight for free with weekly walks and weigh-ins to help battle the bulge.

EUROSPAR is supporting Operation Transformation for the second year running, and manager John Paul Doherty said fans of the show who want to kick-start their health and fitness should come down to the Dungloe store and join in.

He said: “At this time of year most of us can feel like we overdid it a little at Christmas. If you’d like to lose a few pounds or just improve your general fitness for 2014, then why not come down to EUROSPAR Dungloe and get involved?

“We’ll have weekly walks and weigh-ins for customers who’d like to start the New Year feeling healthier. Many people begin diet and fitness plans in January, but most give up.

“But if you get involved through your local EUROSPAR you’ll have a team of people supporting you, all focused on the same goal, which experts have proven makes you more likely to stick at it.”

Anyone who wants to get involved with the EUROSPAR Dungloe Operation Transformation walks and weigh-ins can find further details of times and dates in-store.

The store, which employs 26 people, is open Monday - Saturday 8.30am - 8.00pm & Sunday 9.00am - 6.00pm opening hours.
