Jake O’Regan of St John’s AC in County Clare was first across the line for the second time in as many years at the Bundoran 10 on Saturday.
Running the 10 miles in 49 minutes and 23 seconds, O’Regan missed the course record that he himself set in 2022 by just 43 seconds. He said that he was hoping to tackle a marathon this year and hoped with the events coming up he would be in good shape to complete one.

The top five males were Jake O’Regan (49:23), Tudor Moldovan (Clonliffe Harriers), Danny Mooney (Letterkenny AC), Eoghain McGinley (Letterkenny AC) and Mark Wallace (Letterkenny AC).

Olympian Breege Connolly of Kinlough, County Leitrim was the first female across the line in a time of 58’15” followed by Sara Doohan (Corran AC), Ciara Toner (City of Derry Spartans), Helen McCready (Rosses AC) and Maria Mulligan.
