Aisling McGowan got a huge surprise when family and friends from her native Donegal Town arrived in New York for her 40th birthday. Use the arrows to click through the photos to see all the celebrations in Manhattan.
Aisling has been living in New York for the last 12 years with husband Paul and two children Ethan and Lauren. She celebrated her 40th birthday with family, friends and relations at Avoca, in Manhattan.
She got the surprise of her life when her two sisters Sinead and Siobhan and friends Edwina and Lisa made the trip to New York for her birthday celebrations. Aisling’s sister Nuala and sister-in-law Erin travelled down from Boston.
The party was held in cousin Rory Quinn’s bar Avoca, Upper East Side in Manhattan. It was a lovely night with family, cousins, friends and many of her New York and Irish friends also attended the birthday party.
Aisling would like to thank everyone who attended, especially those who made the journey from home. A great night was enjoyed by all.
A birthday she won’t forget.
