Cathaoirleach of the Municipal District (MD) of Donegal, Cllr Tom Conaghan (Ind) welcomed the Local Authorities Members Association (LAMA) to Donegal Town for their Spring Seminar on January 19 and 20.

“LAMA is a national association of local authorities in Ireland and I am delighted that they have chosen Donegal Town as a venue for their Spring Seminar,” said Cllr Conaghan.

“I believe this shows a national vote of confidence in our town. We have top quality hotels with excellent service and ample guest facilities, bedrooms, etc.

“This is a great boost to all businesses in Donegal Town with 300 to 400 councillors coming to Donegal Town at what is traditionally a quiet month.”
