Carndonagh GAA posted: "The club was delighted to welcome Dublin's eight-time All-Ireland SFC winner Dean Rock as their special guest. He spoke very well to the crowd in attendance with MC Ray Lannon posing some very interesting questions.
"Chairperson Philip McLaughlin welcomed everyone, thanked everyone involved in running the club and congratulated all the teams and players on their successes in 2024. Presentations of our player awards were also made on the night. Amongst these worthy winners, one award in particular deservedly received special focus, that being our Reserve Young Player of the Year in Tiernan Doherty-Kelly. Senior team manager Michael O’Donnell delivered a fitting tribute to Tiernan in his speech.
"Those in attendance were moved to smile and laugh with the memories that Michael detailed, but also left to reflect on the fantastic person and talent the club has lost.
"The night ended with music by the Keltic Knights and some questionable dance moves."
