Watch: Hugh McFadden swaps county kit for county jail as school wins at parade

Scoil an Linbh Íosa won Best Community Float at the Donegal Town St Patrick's Day Parade

Hundreds of children, parents and teachers from Scoil an Linbh Íosa, Killymard took part in an Elvis-themed float at the St Patrick's Day parade in Donegal Town.

County footballer and schoolteacher Hugh McFadden traded his county colours for the county jailor's uniform to help the school bring home the silverware. The school were winners in the Best Community Float category.

All the schools were praised for their fantastic efforts and great turnout, with each school being awarded a special commemorative plaque.
