Schools, social distancing etc become issues in the community Pettigo businesswoman gives her views

With different measurements in force in both Ireland and the North of Ireland as a certain amount of confusion exists in many border areas.

Trina Britton, a publican in Pettigo highlights some of these issues that have come to the fore in the last twenty-four hours.

"Where we are standing now is only around 40 metres from NI and as it stands they have totally different protective measurements in place. We have many young people from this area going to schools in the North and returning in the evening.

"This is not acceptable and I would hope that they will see sense and close the schools this weekend. They are simply putting lives at risk."
