Finn Valley RFC hosted a superb mini blitz on Saturday morning at Finn Valley AC Sports Centre. All six Donegal Clubs attended in addition to Strabane RFC minis.
With all 7 local community clubs represented, some great rugby was played and some fine tries scored by many players.
The turn out was very high, with hundreds of players attending and great fun was had by all. Sportsmanship and respect were shown by all players and teams whilst competing at a high level.
Letterkenny Minis played with great skill at all three age levels and showed much improvement. Passing, tackling and strong running were all in evidence as these young players grew in confidence.
Finn Valley RFC are to be congratulated on hosting such a well run blitz and catering for so many hungry players after the game.
Training takes place next Saturday in Letterkenny, the last session before Santa comes!
New players are always welcome for all our teams. Please feel free to bring your children down to try rugby and join in the fun.
