The following deaths have taken place:

Sir Alan d’Arcy Stewart Bt, Ramelton

The death has taken place on Thursday, June 20 of Sir Alan d’Arcy Stewart Bt., One Acre Church Street, Ramelton.

A private cremation has taken place at the request of the deceased.

The family wish to thank Alan’s carers, doctors and the staff of Donegal Hospice.

Florence (Florrie) Stuart, Convoy

The death has taken place at her home of Florence (Florrie) Stuart, Findrum, Convoy (F93WY88).
Predeceased by her late husband Rankin. Beloved mother of Dorothy and Lorraine, sons-in-law Martin and Garry.
Cherished nana of Ben and Ryan. Her remains will repose at her home today Friday 28th June.
Funeral leaving from there on Saturday, June  29 at 1.30pm for 2pm funeral service in Convoy Reformed Presbyterian Church followed by burial in the family plot in the adjoining graveyard.
Family flowers only please donations in lieu if desired to Convoy Reformed Presbyterian Church and the Donegal hospice care of any family member or Terence McClintock funeral director.

Colleen McFadden, Falcarragh, Birmingham and Mayo

The death has taken place at home in the care of her loving family, of Colleen McFadden, née Munnelly, 44 Charles Road, Brierley Hill, Birmingham, DY15 1AF, and formerly of Ballina Street, Crossmolina, and Falcarragh, and Wizard and Glass, Cradley Heath, Birmingham.

Predeceased by her beloved parents Ambrose and Kathleen and brother Rory; beloved wife of Tommy; mother to Allen, Connor, Finn, Melanie (Mel) and Michelle (Mikie); Colleen will be greatly missed by her grandchildren, great-granddaughter, brothers and sisters.

Her remains are reposing at her home, 44 Charles Road, Brierley Road, DY15 1AF on Sunday at 1.30pm.

Refreshments afterwards at the Liberal Club, 153 High Street, Quarry Bank, Brierley Hill DY5 2AF for catch up with friends and family.

Burial of ashes will take place in Crossmolina, County Mayo at a later date.

Annie Brennan, Ballyshannon and Roscommon

The death has taken place of Annie Brennan, née Walsh, Lisphelim, Knockcroghery, County Roscommon, and formerly of Ballyshannon. She died peacefully in the wonderful care of the doctors, nurses and staff of Portiuncula University Hospital, Ballinasloe, in her 98th year.

Beloved wife of the late James and predeceased by her grandson Trevor Brennan and son-in-law Johnny Murray, she is sadly missed by her daughters Margaret, Ann (John), Elizabeth (Sean) and Patricia (Sean), son John (Marie), her lifelong friend Mary, 16 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, relatives, neighbours and her many good friends.

Her remains will repose at St Brigid's Funeral Home, Brideswell, N37 EK88, on Friday from 5.30pm with removal at 7.30pm to St John's Church, Lecarrow arriving at 8.15pm. 

Mass of the Resurrection on Saturday morning at 11am with burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

Mary McCormack, Donegal Town

The death has occurred peacefully in Aras Mhic Shuibhne Nursing Home, of Mary Mc Cormack, Clar Road, Donegal Town.

Loving wife of Stephen and mother of Siobhan, Mary is predeceased by her brother Jim Connolly. She is sadly missed by her sister Kitty O’Sullivan and brother Mick Connolly, brother-in-law and sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews and extended family and friends.

Mary’s remains will repose in the Tír Conaíll Funeral Home, Donegal Town from 1pm until 6.30pm on Friday with removal to St Agatha’s Church, Clar for 7pm to repose overnight.

Requiem Mass at 2pm on Saturday, with burial immediately afterwards in adjoining cemetery.

Family flowers only, donations, if so desired, to Aras Mhic Shuibhne Nursing Home Laghey or Donegal Community Hospital Patient comfort fund.

William McLaughlin, Buncrana

The death has occurred at Letterkenny University Hospital of William McLaughlin (Clamperland) Ardban, Ballymagan, Buncrana.

William is predeceased by his wife Ann, daughter Sharon, sister Mary and brothers Philip, Patrick. He will be sadly missed and never forgotten by his loving family Kathy (Martin) Marion (Charlie) Linda (Martin) Kevin, Matthew, his cherished grandchildren Sean, Sharon, Thomas, Jacqueline, Darren, Conor, Liam, Bernard, Shania, Kyle, his brother Philip, sisters Sadie, Bridie, nephews, nieces, sisters in law, brothers in law, cousins, neighbours, friends and the wider family circle.

William's remains are reposing at is home where you are welcome to pay your respects.

Funeral from there on Saturday leaving at 10.10am going to St Mary’s Church Cockhill for 11am Requiem Mass with burial afterwards in the adjoining Cemetery. Funeral can be viewed on www.churchservices.tv/cockhill.

Patrick J Gallagher, Frosses and USA

The death has occurred peacefully at his home of Patrick J Gallagher, Mongomery, PA, USA and formerly Meenagran, Frosses.

Sadly missed by his beloved wife Bridget (Dede) and predeceased by his son Patrick Gallagher Jnr. He is survived by his siblings Theresa, Margaret, Agnes and Anthony, and is predeceased by his siblings Connie, Kathleen, and Marie. Patrick is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

Funeral Mass at 10.30am on Saturday in St Cecilia’s Church, Philadelphia, PA 19111. Mass can be watched via https://stceciliafc.org/live-stream

Willie Ward, Cloghan

The death has taken place in St Joseph's Hospital, Stranorlar of Willie Ward, Tievedeevin, Cloghan, Donegal, F93 W0Y2.

He is survived by his sisters, Margaret and Nellie, and predeceased by his parents, Condy and Bridget, sister Kitty and brothers Paddy and Vincie.

His remains will repose at his home from 6pm on Thursday. Rosary at 9 pm each night with family time from after the Rosary until 11 am.

Funeral Mass at 10am on Saturday in St Colmcille's Chapel, Fintown, with burial afterwards in the adjoining Churchyard. The Funeral Mass can be viewed on Teach-Pobal-Cholmcille-Naofa Facebook page.
