Bríd Cannon, Glencolmcille
The death has occurred of Bríd Cannon, Farnmcbride, Glencolmcille, Donegal, peacefully in the loving company of her family, and under the kind care of the staff at the Harbour Lights Nursing Home, Killybegs. Deeply regretted by her loving sisters Sarah and Máire, her brother-in-laws John and Gene, her nephews, nieces, grand-nephews, grand-nieces, and wide circle of friends and neighbours. May Bríd rest in peace.
Wake at her sister, Sarah Byrne’s house in Cappagh, Teelin from 1pm until Rosary time at 8.30pm on Saturday evening. House private at all other times. Removal on Sunday at 10.30am for mass in St Columba’s Church, Glencolmcille at 11am with burial in the adjoining cemetery.
Moya Hand (née Bonner), Mullaghduff
Moya Hand (née Bonner) (Rathgar, Dublin and late of Mullaghduff,) on August 8, peacefully, beloved wife of the late Michael and partner of the late Tom Breslin, loving mum of Michelle and Cliodhna and devoted Granny to Naomi, Sophie, Lucy, Michael and Katie; sadly missed by her loving daughters, sons-in-law Kanti and Peter, grandchildren, brothers, sisters, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.
Funeral to take place on Tuesday morning at 11 am in the Three Patrons Church, Rathgar (followed by a private family cremation). Moya's funeral mass maybe viewed online via the Rathgar Parish website.

Hugh Harkin, Moville
Hugh Francis Harkin (Hughie) of Raheny, Dublin 5, formerly Glasgow and Moville, Donegal, on August 7, peacefully in Beaumont Hospital, under the kind care of amazing staff.
Loving and beloved husband of Cathy, father (the best) of Kathleen, John, and Noreen and father-in-law of Peter, Edith and David; doting messer of a grandfather to Hannah, David, Sam, Jeremy, Shauna, John Joe, Molly, Kate, Olivia, Aoibh, and Ciara who will all miss him terribly, as will his much loved daughter-in-law Doyin, grandchildren’s partners Adam, John, Katelyn, and Niall, his sister Philomena, brother Patrick, brother-in-law Alan, and all the Harkins, McCaffertys, and extended family, good friends, and wonderful neighbours. He is predeceased by his parents Kathleen (Vera) and William Harkin, brothers Bernard and Liam, and many good friends.
Reposing at home from 4-6pm on Sunday, August 11, with Funeral Mass at 10am, Monday in St Benedicts Church, Grange Park View (Eircode: D05 XN47), Followed by Burial in Balgriffin Cemetery. The Funeral mass will be broadcast via webcam from St Benedict’s Church, on the Church Services website.
Anne McGee (née Carlin), Ballintra
The death has occurred of Anne McGee, Moneymore, Ballintra, peacefully in Aras Mhic Shuibhne Nursing Home, Laghey. Sadly missed by her her sons Gary (Niamh) and Frank (Noreen), daughter Teresa (Tom), Sisters Mary, Claire, Bridie, Brenda, Sally, Phil and Joan grandchildren Fiachra, Hannah, Aine and Shea, nieces and nephews, and extended family.
Anne’s remains will be repose in Aras Mhic Shuibhne Nursing Home, Laghey, from 3pm-6pm today, Saturday.
Nursing home is Private at all other times please. Anne’s remains will leave Aras Mhic Shuibhne on Sunday at 10:30am for funeral mass at 11am in St Bridget’s Church, Ballintra, with burial immediately afterwards in adjoining graveyard.
Family flowers only, Donation in lieu of flowers if so desired to Aras Mhic Shuibhne patient comfort fund care of any family member of Faulkner Funeral Undertakers. Anne’s requiem mass can be viewed on the Church Services website.
Kevin (Digger) Nelis, Raphoe
The sudden death has occurred of Kevin (Digger) Nelis, Demesne, Raphoe. F93 EH28. Lovingly missed by his brothers and sisters the Murphy Family Mary, Thomas, Ann, Pauline, Martin and Jean, nieces, nephews and all his extended family and friends
Kevin was predeceased by his mother Cassie Murphy, may they rest in peace. Kevin will be reposing at his late residence Demesne, Raphoe from 11am Saturday, August 10. Family time please from 11pm to 11am. Funeral Cortege will be leaving his late residence on Sunday morning at 10.20am going to St Eunan’s Church, Raphoe for 11am Requiem Mass with burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

Breid Mc Gill, Glenties
The death has occurred in the presence of her family in the loving care of the staff of the Donegal Hospice of Breid (Brigid) McGill, Gortnamucklagh Glenties and formerly Glen Road, Glenties.
Predeceased by parents Danny and Rose and brother Conal, she is sadly missed and forever loved by her sisters Mary(Chris), Carmel(Bernie), Ann-Edel (Pat), and brothers Kevin (Pauline) and Denis (Mary), nieces, nephews, grandnieces neighbours and her large circle of friends.
Breid's remains are reposing at her home F94VW66 on Saturday from 10am until 10pm. Family time on the morning of the funeral.
Funeral mass on Sunday afternoon at 1pm in St Connells Church, Glenties with burial afterwards in the local cemetery. Funeral mass can be viewed live on The Church Services website.
Peter McLaughlin, Newtowncunningham
The death has taken place peacefully at Donegal Hospice of Peter Mc Laughlin (Publican), Main Street, Newtowncunningham, Donegal, F93X6HO,
Predeceased by his parents Peter and Catherine, his wife Anna (2014), brothers Phil and Charlie, sisters Greta and Bernadette. Peter will be sorely missed by his sons Dominic (Anne), Gregory (Majella), Malachy, John (Terry), Philip, David (Stephen), daughters Suzanna (Tony), Catherine (Marcus), Sarah (Rahul), 18 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Fondly remembered by extended family members neighbours & many friends.
His remains are reposing at his late residence. Family time please from 11pm to 11am.
Funeral from there on Sunday morning for Requiem Mass in All Saint’s Church, Newtowncunningham at 11am, followed by interment in the adjoining cemetery. Funeral Mass can be viewed on the Church Services website.

Thomas Doherty, Scotland and Stranorlar
The death has occurred at St Andrew's Hospice of Thomas Doherty, formerly of Drumboe Lower, Stranorlar, and late of Gilmourton, South Lanarkshire, Scotland.
Beloved husband of Lorna, father of son Callum and daughter Eilidh, son of Paddy and Toni Doherty, cherished brother of Gerard (Jacqueline), Elizabeth (Stephen), and Stephen (Katie). Deeply regretted and sadly missed by brother-in-law Scott, nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles, extended family, neighbours, work colleagues and friends. Funeral details to follow.
Jim Maginnis, Down and Donegal
The death has taken place peacefully at Oakridge Nursing Home, aged 89 years, of William James (Jim) Maginnis, Ravarnette, Lisburn, Down, BT27 5DW and formerly of Donegal and Dublin.
Dearly beloved husband of Louie, much loved and loving father to Patricia, Adrian, Peter, Alan and Alastair, and a proud grandfather.
