Veronica Bennett, Ardara
The peaceful death has occurred of Veronica Bennett Hill Head Ardara. She passed away in Letterkenny University Hospital surrounded by her loving family after a short illness, borne with dignity and courage.
Predeceased by her parents Paddy and Rose Breslin, brothers Jim, Peter, Charlie Joe, Con and Packie. Sisters Bridie, Kathleen and Rose. Also by her husband Phonise, sons Martin, Peter, and daughter Mary Phylis and grandson Christopher. Vericona will be greatly misses by her sons Eugene (Kathleen) Packie, Claire (Richard) Sharon (John Damien) Fidelma (Brian), 16 Grandchildren and 15 Great grandchildren. Her sister Mary Judge(New Jersey) and nieces and nephews.
Her remains are reposing at her home F94N2R5 Saturday and Sunday from 12 till 9pm. Family time on the morning of the funeral please.
Funeral Mass in the Church of the Holy Family, Ardara on Monday at 12 noon. Burial will take place afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

Philomena Porter, Mountcharles
The peaceful death has occurred at Letterkenny University Hospital, of Philomena Porter, San Giovanni Grove, Dromore, Mountcharles.
She was predeceased by her beloved parents Thomas and Rosanna, her sisters Anna and Kathleen (Ward) and brother-in-law Benny Mooney. She will be sorely missed by her sisters Bridie (Mooney) and Rosabel (Collins), her brothers-in-law, John P. Ward and John Collins. She was adored by her many nieces and nephews, grand-nieces and grand-nephews, their spouses, as well as by her extended family, friends, neighbours and carers. Aunty Phil or Mena, as she was affectionately known, especially welcomed children into her home and this kindness and her joy for life will never be forgotten.
Her remains are reposing at Gallaghers Funeral Home, Station Road, Mountcharles, F94 X02N, on Saturday from 4pm to 8pm and on Sunday from 3pm to 6pm.
Requiem Mass in St Mary's Church, Killymard on Monday at 11am, followed by burial in the local cemetery.

Bridie Farrell, Mountcharles and Dublin
The death has occurred of Bridget (Bridie) Farrell peacefully at Aras Mhic Shuibhne, Laghey. She was a resident of Drumduff, Mountcharles, and previously of 35 Hammond Street, Blackpitts, Dublin 8.
Predeceased by her husband Peter, sisters Emily and Betty and brother Jack, sadly missed by her children Liz and Paul, brothers Billy, Charlie and Bobby, sister Margaret, grandchildren Sara, Rachel, Anna, Peter, great grandchild Thea and son and daughter-n-law James and Irina.
Removal from Donegal to Massey Bros Funeral Home, 109 the Coombe Dublin on Saturday to repose from 2pm to 5pm.
Funeral Mass on Monday at 10am in St Nicholas of Myra Church, Francis Street, Dublin 8 followed by burial at Mount Jerome Cemetery, Harold’s Cross, Dublin.
Dr Patrick Joseph (Joe) Mulholland, Dublin and Stranorlar
The death has taken place of Dr Patrick Joseph (Joe) Mulholland, Foxrock, Dublin 18, late of Stranorlar and Ballybofey, former managing director of RTÉ and director of the MacGill Summer School. He passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loving family, in the kind care of all the staff at St Vincent’s private hospital.
Beloved husband of the late Annie (August 2025) and loving father of Fiona, Sylvain and Julien. Predeceased by his brothers Raymond and Danny. Sadly missed by his sons, daughter and her partner Geoff, sisters Celine and Elizabeth, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends in Ireland, England and France.
His remains are reposing on Saturday, from 2pm to 4pm in Fanagan's Carnegies Funeral Directors, Monkstown, A94 XK28. House private please.
Funeral Service at 11am on Monday in the Church of the Sacred Heart, Donnybrook followed by burial in Kilternan Cemetery Park, Ballycorus Road, D18 X22C. The Mass shall be streamed using parish webcam.
Phil Ward, Arranmore
The peaceful death has taken place of Phil Ward, Manchester, native of Arranmore.
Predeceased by siblings Nan, John, Nellie, Mona, Packie and James, he is sadly missed by his brothers Michael, Frank, Joe, sisters in law and a wide family circle of nephews, nieces, especially Monica who cared for him so well in Manchester, and friends.
His remains will arrive from Manchester on Saturday evening and will repose briefly at McGlynn's Funeral Home, Dungloe, with visitation from 5pm until 7pm before travelling onwards to Arranmore.
Wake at the family home Leabgarrow from 2pm on Sunday with Rosary at 8pm both nights.
Removal on Monday for 11am Mass in St Crone's Church, Arranmore followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery. Mass can be viewed live here.

Noel Burke, Mountcharles
The death has taken place peacefully at Donegal Hospice, of Noel Burke, Drumgorman, Mountcharles.
Predeceased by his father, Tommy, he is sadly missed by his loving wife Kathleen, his children Pauric (Mary), Claire (Kyle), Marie (Mark), his grandchildren Mason, Ella, Eoghan and Oisin, and his mother Eilish. Cherished brother of John James (Breda), Willie (Mary), Hugh (Rose), Ciaran, Brid, Geraldine (Michael), Kathleen (Tom), and Martina (Adrian). Lovingly remembered by his nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
His remains are reposing at his late residence, with wake continuing on Saturday from 2pm to 9pm.

The death has occurred at his late residence of Noel Lafferty, Carrickshandrum, Crossroads, Killygordon. F93 R6EH.
Beloved husband of Margaret, much loved father to sons Glyn and David, daughter Elaine, son-in-law Damien, dearly loved grandfather to Caitlin, Leaigh, Daithi, Kayla, Nicole, Danielle, cherished brother of Stephen (Susan), Doreen (Tommy), and the late Barney and Damien. He is predeceased by his parents Dan and Rosie. Deeply regretted and lovingly remembered by his wife, sons, daughter, son-in-law, grandchildren, brother, sister, extended family and friends.

Tara Holden, Sligo and Mountcharles
The death has taken place unexpectedly at her home, of Tara Holden, Carrownacarrick, Coolaney, Sligo and formely of Mountcharles.
Predeceased by her Dad James and her partner Lester Middleton; forever remembered by her son Shane, daughter Annaleigh, Shane's partner Jennie, grand-daughter Sienna, her mother Pamela, sisters Elaine, Dawn, Pamela and Claire, brothers James and Stephen, extended family, neighbours and many friends.
Her remains are reposing at JP Clarke's Funeral Home, Coolaney, F56 K443, on Saturday from 5pm until 7pm.
House is strictly private at all times.
Tara's Funeral cortege will leave Dawn's house on Sunday at 1.40 p.m. to arrive at Rathbarron Parish Church for Service at 2 pm with interment afterwards in the adjoining churchyard.

The death has taken place of Seamus Doogan (Neil) of Ballyness, Falcarragh at Falcarragh Community Hospital.
Deeply regretted and sadly missed by his son Micheal, his daughter Noreen, daughter-in-law Noeleen, his four grandsons James, John, Denis and Eamonn, his sister Sheila Geaney, his brother Fr. Neillie, nieces, nephews and a large circle of family, friends and neighbours. He is predeceased by his wife Mary Frances, sisters Annie, Una and Mary and his brothers Joe and Manus.

The sudden death has occurred at his home of Brian Richardson, Ballyargus, Redcastle, and formerly of Newcastle, United Kingdom.
Predeceased by his loving wife Ann, much-loved father of Sean and Sharon. Deeply regretted by his grandchildren Arron, Kalem, Ryan, Zara, Craig, Adam and Ciara, his great-grandchildren Nathaniel, Mya, Tadhg, Ollie and Leilani, his daughter-in-law Tina, son-in-law Fred, nieces, nephews, extended family, friends and neighbours.
Removal from his late residence on Saturday at 9.20am going to St Columba’s Church, Drung for 10am Requiem Mass, followed by cremation at Lakeland’s Crematorium, Cavan at 3pm. Requiem Mass can be viewed live here.

Nora Cassidy, Teelin
The death has taken place of Nora Cassidy, Iomaire Mhuireanáin, Teelin. Nora passed away peacefully in the wonderful and gentle care of the staff at The Prince and Princess of Wales Hospice, Glasgow after a long illness.
She is predeceased by her parents Con and Mary Kate Cassidy. Beloved partner of Joe, Nora will be sadly missed by her sisters Katie and Peggy, her niece Siobhán, nephews Brendan and Shane, brothers-in-law John and Tommy and a wide circle of relatives and friends.
Funeral Mass on Saturday at 11 am with burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.
