Rita Kane, Derrybeg and Dublin, Kerry and Wicklow
The death has taken place of Rita Kane, née Byrne, Carrick, Derrybeg, County Donegal and formerly of Blackrock, County Dublin; Arklow, County Wicklow and Kenmare, County Kerry. She passed away peacefully, in the care of the staff at Áras Ghaoth Dobhair Nursing Home.
Predeceased by her husband Michael Kane, she is sadly missed by her daughters Brenda, Sheila and Eileen, sons Michael, John, Brian and Ronan, extended family and friends.
Her remains are reposing in Fanagans Carnegies Funeral Home, Monkstown, A94 XK28, on Thursday from 5pm to 7pm.
Funeral Mass at 11am on Friday in St Patrick’s Church, Curtlestown, Enniskerry, County Wicklow followed by burial in adjoining cemetery.
Mary McDaid, Letterkenny
The death has taken place peacefully in the exceptional care of the staff at the Donegal Hospice, of Mary McDaid, née Gallagher, 10 Swilly Park, Ashlawn, Letterkenny.
Deeply regretted by her loving family, Pat, Noreen, Brendan (Claire) and JR, grandchildren, sisters Roisín (Calgary), Brigid (Philadelphia) and Ann (Glebe), brothers Brian (Cabra) and Eamonn (Trimragh), nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. She is predeceased by her husband James and her parents Nora and Packie.
Her remains are reposing at the residence of her son Pat, Coolboy, Letterkenny, F92 DRT2, on Tuesday February from 6pm until 10pm and on Wednesday from 11am until 10pm.
Requiem Mass on Thursday at 11am in St Colmcille’s Church, Glendowan. Burial will take place afterwards in Templedouglas Cemetery. Mass can be viewed on the church webcam
Michael Curran, Loughanure and Falcarragh
The death has occurred suddenly but peacefully of Michael Curran, 14A Loughanure, County Donegal, F94 E767, and formerly of Ballintemple, Falcarragh.
Survived by his wife Margaret, children Michael Joseph and Niamh, his parents Daniel and Sarah his brothers Danny Óg (Sandra), John (Janet), Bryan (Hilary) and his sisters Cáit (Mark) and Maire, nieces, nephew, relatives, neighbours and wide circle of friends.
Michael is being waked in his house in Loughanure (F94 E767) from 11am on Tuesday and Wednesday with Rosary on both nights at 8pm. House private after the rosary and on the morning of the funeral.
Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday at 11am in the Star of the Sea Church, Annagry with burial afterwards in the new graveyard. Mass can be viewed here

John Holmes, Ballybofey
The death has occurred at Brentwood Manor Nursing Home, Convoy of John Holmes, Meencarriagh, Ballybofey, formerly Drumboe, Stranorlar.
Beloved husband of the late Ruby; predeceased by his father and mother Charlie and Bella, and his sisters Charolotte Long and Margaret Dorrian; deeply regretted and lovingly remembered by his sister-in-law Katie Harron, brothers-in-law Charlie Long and JJ Dorrian, his nephews, nieces, extended family, former work colleagues, and many friends.
His remains are reposing at Mc Cool’s Funeral Home on Tuesday and Wednesday from 6pm concluding with Rosary at 9pm. Family time on the morning of the funeral please.

Joseph Chambers, Donegal Town
The death has occurred of Joseph Chambers, 20 O'Cleirigh Avenue, Donegal Town. Joseph passed away peacefully in Sligo University Hospital surrounded by his loving family.
Sadly missed by his loving wife Philomena, sons Paul(Christine) Barry(Caroline), daughter Gillian(Darren), grandchildren, nieces, nephews, neighbours, friends and extended family.
Joseph's remains are reposing in Tír Conaíll Funeral Home, Drumrooske, Donegal Town, F94 FX3A from 1pm until 5.30pm on Wednesday with removal to St Mary’s Church, Killymard for 6pm to reside overnight. House strictly private

Brendan Mc Menamin, Bruckless and Mayo
The death has occurred suddenly but peacefully, of Brendan McMenamin, Hillside Court, James Connolly Street, Ballina, County Mayo and formerly of Bruckless, County Donegal.
Predeceased by his parents Ralph and Rose his brothers Paul, Anthony and Martin, his sister Kathleen Gallagher, Brendan will be sadly missed and remembered with love by his sisters Rosemary Devaney, Bridie Degnan, Theresa Ward, Jennifer Mc Menamin, brothers Stephen and Ralph , brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and wide circle of friends both in Mayo and Donegal.
Funeral arriving to the Church of St Joseph and St Conal, Bruckless, County Donegal, F94 CH02 on Tuesday evening for prayers at 7pm.

Kapil Verma, Letterkenny
The peaceful death has occurred at his late residence of Kapil Verma, 10 McNeely Villas, Letterkenny, F92V05P.
Beloved husband of Margaret and devoted father of Mark (Paula), Jason, Gavin (Dympna), and Sheena (Damien). He is sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his family, cherished grandchildren and great-grandchildren, extended family, neighbours, and many friends.
His remains are reposing at his late residence with wake continuing on Tuesday from 12 noon to 9pm. All are welcome to attend and pay your respects.
Cremation will take place on Wednesday at 11am in Lakelands Crematorium, Cavan.

The death has occurred of Eileen Warren, Kildoney Glebe, Ballyshannon, F94 K5T6. She passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving and caring family in the comfort of her home.
Devoted wife of John (Sean). Dearly loved mother of Martin (Mairead), Aidan (Alison) and Majella (Mark) and her baby boy John, born sleeping. Beloved grandmother to her nine grandchildren Kelsie, Dáire, Gerry, Nessa, Katelyn, JJ, Grace, Elodie and baby Callum. Her passing is deeply regretted by her sister, Mary (Anthony RIP) and sister-in-law Marian, Tony, Teresa and Gerard, her Nephews, Stephen and Charles, nieces, Joan and Margaret, extended family, wide circle of beloved neighbours, friends and ceili dancers.
Her remains are reposing at her home with wake continuing on Tuesday from 2pm to 8pm. There will be a one way system in operation for the wake, entry via Heron's Cove and exit via Creevy cross roads.

Katherine Mary Maguire, Cavan, Fermanagh and Raphoe
The death has taken place peacefully surrounded by her loving family, of Katherine Mary Maguire, née Carlin, The Birches, Ballyconnell, County Cavan, formerly of Munville House, Lisnaskea, County Fermanagh, and The Diamond, Raphoe, County Donegal.
Beloved wife of the late Thomas Frederick Maguire, dearly loved mother of Tom and Helen, adored Grandma of Eva and Joshua, cherished mother-in-law to Niall (McSharry) and James (Shannon), and darling sister of John and Hugh Carlin and esteemed sister-in-law to Andrew Maguire. She is predeceased by her parents, Hugh and Breda Carlin. Katherine will be greatly missed by her family, extended family, dear friends and former colleagues and warmly remembered by all.

Predeceased by his parents James and Martha, brothers Pat and Fr James and sisters Kathleen Gallagher (Derry), Mary Crossley (Lancashire) and Rosaleen Conaghan (Rathdonnell); he is sadly missed by his wife Frances, sons Seamus (Joanne) and Paul, daughters Marie and Marguerite (Damien), his beloved grandchildren Ryan, Aimee, Aoibhinn, Dáithí and Cillian, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Requiem Mass on Tuesday at 11am in the Church of the Irish Martyrs, Gortlee, Letterkenny with interment afterwards in Conwal Cemetery. Mass can be viewed on the Church of the Irish Martyrs YouTube channel.
