Cancer Charity North West Hospice is £25,000 sterling better off tonight thanks to singer Kian Egan.

The former Westlife star was a guest on a celebrity edition of ITV’s hugely popular The Cube and selected North West Hospice as one of two charities he would donate his winnings to.

Kian, who also proved himself well up to handling anything the jungle could throw at him recently, put in a brilliant performance on The Cube.

While he didn’t beat The Cube, he won a hugely impressive £50,000 and took plenty of risks to get to that figure.

Host Philip Schofield praised the former Westlife star for being a gutsy guest, informing him that he was the first player to attempt the £50,000 game with just one life remaining.

Kian was supported on by his mother and his sister, who sat in the audience and advised him throughout the game.

A regular on TV theses days, he is a coach on ‘The Voice of Ireland’, presented ‘This Morning’ with wife Jodi Albert and now tonight’s game show appearance and on Friday, March 14th he will release his debut solo single ‘Home’.
