Daragh Gallagher was among the point scorers for Naomh Conaill.

Naomh Conaill cruised into the Senior B Football Championship final thanks to a big win over Glenfin.

Naomh Conaill 3-16
Glenfin 1-5

Marc Burke’s 12th minute goal laid the platform for a comfortable win for Martin Gallagher’s men.

Two goals in a deadly 90 seconds 11 minutes from the end put this one well beyond Glenfin’s reach.

The lively Burke did well and his ball across the goal face was steered in by Shane McDevitt. Almost immediately, Seamus Corcoran flicked home a third Naomh Conaill goal.

Off the back of a 5-17 to 0-5 quarter-final win over Cloughaneely, Naomh Conaill began in fine fashion again.

Burke was slipped in and made no mistake, delightfully finishing past Niall Campbell, to open up a 1-4 to 0-1 lead.

Former SFC winners Seamus Corcoran, Nathan Byrne and Leon Thompson were among the scorers as Naomh Conaill racked up the points.

Another Dr Maguire winner, Daragh Gallagher, landed a superb point to help into a 1-9 to 0-4 half-time lead.

The pair of second-half majors took Naomh Conaill into an unassailable position while Daithi Carr netted a late consolation.
