The scene of the accident at Ballymacool, Letterkenny, this evening
Emergency services are at the scene of an incident in the Ballymacool area of Letterkenny in which a car was in collision with a wall at the front of a house.
The driver of the vehicle, a Seat Ibiza, was the only occupant of the car. She was travelling into town when the collision occurred close to Hegarty House at Ballymacool.
It is understood the the injuries sustained by the driver are not life-threatening
Tailbacks are being experienced. The driver's car was in collision with a wall about 50 metres earlier before coming to a stop after colliding with the second wall.
The incident happened at around 4.15. Gardai are also at the scene.
