At this time of the year Dorrian’s Hotel in Balyshannon embraces the Christmas season like no other hotel in the county.
Hundreds of teddy bears, elves and Santa Clauss appear in practically every corner of all the public areas which have been collected by the Dorrian family over the years.
The hotel was the ideal venue for this year’s “Stars in Your Eyes” in aid of Saimer Childcare which saw an unbelievable range of talent compete in front of a packed ballroom.
From Maria Callas to Amy Winehouse, Niall Horan to Celine Dion the sheer talent surpassed everybody’s expectations and would not have been out of place on the X Factor or The Voice.
The winner was Rosaleen Donagher who sang Aretha Franklin’s Son of a Preacher Man.
Well done to all who took part and to those who organised the show. A huge crowd enjoyed a great night.
