Ballybofey roadworks open to two-way traffic for bank holiday weekend

Ballybofey roadworks open to two-way traffic for bank holiday weekend

The roadworks at Ballybofey are open this weekend to two-way traffic.

The works, on the Donegal town side of Ballybofey, will be open to two-way traffic throughout the bank holiday weekend.

The two sets of temporary traffic lights which have caused long delays at times, were not operating on Friday evening and traffic will be able to move freely throughout the weekend until Tuesday morning.

The safety works at Capry, south of Ballybofey, were also suspended for a month over the busy Christmas period.

Donegal County Council says the road works at Roadhouse Bar are due to finish on March 22.
