Author Sharon Thompson is hosting a new creative writing course, which begins on January 19.
Have you ever fancied yourself as the next Roddy Doyle or Claire Keegan? Well, why not start the New Year by joining a new creative writing class in Inishowen?
‘The Write Idea’ begins at Greencastle Community Centre on Monday, January 19, and it will run from 7pm until 8.30pm each evening for a period of six weeks, with beginners and emerging writers welcome.
The course, which will have a focused but friendly atmosphere, is being run by celebrated Moville author Sharon Thompson, who has published a number of acclaimed novels in recent years.
During each 90-minute class, participants will be encouraged to explore ways to write their ideas; Find and develop their own writing voice and style; and Learn techniques to develop that style.
‘The Write Idea’ also provides a chance to mix with other writers and get feedback, as well as finding out how you can get your work published.
