Anne’s coffee morning brews up support for three worthy causes

Quigley’s Point woman shares proceeds of successful fundraiser between Foyle Hospice, Friends of Inishowen Cancer Care and Letterkenny Hospital
A charity coffee morning held in Moville has raised thousands of euro for three worthy causes providing vital care and support to people across the North-West.
Anne Mullan, from Quigley’s Point, recently presented a cheque for €2,240 to Foyle Hospice, representing part of the proceeds raised at the successful fundraising event.
The coffee morning took place at Serenity House, Moville, in August, when friends and family gathered to support Anne and her chosen charities.
Alongside Foyle Hospice, Anne generously supported Friends of Inishowen Cancer Care and the Oncology Department at Letterkenny University Hospital, helping to make a difference to patients and families facing cancer and other serious illnesses.
Foyle Hospice Community Fundraiser Ailbhe McDaid accepted the cheque on behalf of the charity, which provides specialist palliative care and support for patients and their loved ones across the North-West.
In expressing its gratitude, Foyle Hospice thanked Anne for her kindness and generosity, as well as everyone who attended the coffee morning, donated, baked, volunteered or supported the event in any way.
The Hospice said community fundraising initiatives such as Anne’s are so important to the organisation and help it continue providing care and support to local patients and families.
