Recently a presentation was made to The Kevin Bell Repatriation Fund in the sum of €16,622.
The presentation was in memory of the late Barry Breslin, Straleel, Kilcar who lost his life in a work place accident in Perth, Australia just over a year ago.
To mark Barry's first anniversary a sponsored walk was arranged and bucket collections were carried out over a four hour period. Refreshments were served afterwards in the Clubhouse in Towney.
A Go Fund Me Page was also set up.
This has been the most successful fundraiser and thanks are due to everyone from far and near who supported the cause.
