Met Éireann is warning that in some places, temperatures will dip to minus 5 Celsius.
Here in Donegal, a snow and ice warning expired at midday on Saturday. Parts of the county experienced dangerous road conditions this morning again and while the main roads have been treated, driving conditions on back roads remain hazardous.
In Dublin, dozens of flights have been cancelled in and out of Dublin.
As of 9am, airlines have cancelled at least 23 outbound flights and 27 inbound flights on Saturday.
It comes after 69 departing flights and 74 inbound flights were cancelled last night.
