Brian Anderson has his hand raised after overcoming his Twin Towns BC clubmate Jack Barron.
Donegal will be well represented in the Ulster Boy/Girl 13 Championships after having a fine weekend at the North West Zones Championships in Carndonagh on Saturday.
Five Donegal boxers won finals in the ring with a raft of walkover wins significantly boosting the county's representation. Another five Donegal punchers will box in outstanding North West Zones finals later this week.
There was something of an emotional win when Brian Anderson continued in the family ways with win in an all-Twin Towns Boxing Club final at Boy 3 54kgs.
Anderson, a grandson of former Irish Olympian Brian Anderson, who boxed for Ireland at the 1964 Olympic Games in Tokyo, defeated his clubmate Jack Barron.
After three rounds, Anderson had his hand raised after taking a unanimous decision.
The Anderson family lost the great Peter Anderson, the young boxer's great-uncle who was one of the Twin Towns club's founder members, earlier this month.
Dunfanaghy's Conor McFadden defeated Illies Golden Gloves' Dara Docherty in the Boy 1 33kgs final. McFadden took a clean sweep of the judges' scorecards.
Dunfanaghy's Shaun Doohan stopped Michael Story from Star of the Sea to claim the boy 3 65kgs title. The bout was halted in the third round with Doohan in command.
There was joy for Raphoe Boxing Club's Tyler Keaveney in the Boy 1 37kgs decider. Keaveney, son of Raphoe BC coach Gerard Keaveney, stormed his way to victory over Rowen Dohery from St Bridget's, Clonmany.

Carrigart's Killian Caldwell overcame Eunan Friel of Twin Towns in the Boy 3 52kgs final.
Twin Towns' Cadin Keenan was beaten by Sean McNamee from Swatragh in the Boy 2 41.5kgs final while Carndonagh's Kyron Kelly lost out to Star of the Sea's Shea Story at Boy 3 62kgs.
Four more Donegal boxers will fight in finals on Thursday night in Letterkenny: St Bridget's Ryan Glackin will take to the Boy 1 38.5kgs decider; Noah Quinn from Carndonagh will be in the Boy 1 40kgs final; and there will be an all-Inishowen final at Boy 2 35kgs, where St Bridget's Brendan Doherty fights Illies Golden Gloves' Cormac Callaghan.
