Rachael Darragh has guaranteed a place on the podium at the Lagos International Classic.
The Raphoe badminton ace is through to the semi-finals of the competition in Nigeria.
In a pulsating quarter-final on Friday morning, Darragh overcame Nurani Ratu Azzahra at the Teslim Balogun Stadium.
Irish number one Darragh won an epic opener 24-23 before Azzahra, representing the United Arab Emirates, took the second 9-21.
Darragh hit back to edge a super third game 21-19, booking her spot in the semi-finals.
Darragh is the fourth seed in the event.
The Raphoe woman opened up with a 21-11 21-9 win over Gladys Mbabazi from Uganda.
In the second round, Darragh disposed of Nigeria’s Grace Gabril 21-6 21-9.
