Patrick McGettigan landed an 11/4 success at Bellewstown on Sunday evening.

The Ballyare jockey guided “Bay Of Supremacy” to victory for trainer John Patrick Murtagh in the 18:20 handicap. That win takes McGettigan’s tally to five for the year so far.

Meanwhile, Luke McAteer enjoyed a standout day in Dundalk on Friday, riding three winners across the card.

The Rathmullan jockey opened his account in the 17:42 race, guiding Jered Maddox to success at odds of 11/4.

He followed up in the 18:15 contest, partnering Allsortz to victory as the 7/4 favourite. McAteer completed his treble in style when Golddream, sent off at 22/1, claimed the 19:20 race.

All three winners were trained by David Marnane, and the treble would have returned odds of 237/1.
