Former Finn Harps captains Gareth Harkin and Keith Cowan were both on target on Saturday as Dergview scored a dramatic 3-2 win in the NIFL Championship.
Dergview hit a 95th minute winner against H&W Welders, Padraig Lynch netting for Tommy Canning’s side at the Blanchflower Stadium.
Harkin opened the scoring in the sixth minute when he clipped past Yusuf Mersin.
After Ewan McCoubrey levelled, Michael McLellan put the Welders in front.
Cowan equalised when he planted home a header from a corner. It looked all set to end in stalemate until Lynch pounced.
Patrick McGarvey, Jack Parke and Stephen Black were also in the Dergview XI with Conor Black and Joshua Maxwell coming off the bench.
Ballybofey man Mark Mbuli scored the opener for Institute, but they lost 3-1 to Newington. Zach Barr bagged a hat-trick for ‘Stute, who included Dylan Doherty, Evan Tweed and Michael Harris in their starting team with former Cockhill Celtic player Fionn McClure an unused sub.
