Erin McLaughlin made her second Republic of Ireland senior appearance and Tyler Toland punched in another 90 minutes as the Girls in Green hammered Albania on Friday night.
A Katie McCabe hat-trick and a brace from Kyra Carusa saw Ireland, under the interim manager Eileen Gleeson, chalk up a fine win.
McLaughlin helped Peamount United to win the Women’s Premier Division this year and had been involved in the senior squad pre-World Cup.
The Culdaff woman made her debut in a 3-2 win over Zambia and came on in the 56th minute of Friday’s Nations League clash at Tallaght Stadium.
McLaughlin replaced Izzy Atkinson and played her part in the victory.
Toland, who netted her first goal for Blackburn Rovers last weekend, continues to impress having been restored to the squad by Gleeson following the departure of Vera Pauw.
McCabe was the star of the show on Friday, scoring three and laying on the assists for both of Carusa’s goals.
Ireland travel to Albania on Tuesday evening.
