Toland has upper hand as Donegal players meet in Old Firm Cup clash

Two Donegal players were on opposing sides of an Old Firm Derby on Sunday - and the bragging rights were with Tyler Toland.

The St Johnston woman played the first half as Celtic overcame Glasgow rivals Rangers 2-1 in the Scottish Women’s Cup, with Ciara Grant included in the 'Gers team.

Toland has been with Celtic since the summer while Letterkenny woman Grant is only a recent recruit for Rangers having switched from Shelbourne.

Celtic took the lead at the Penny Cars Stadium when Clarissa Larisey prodded home.

However, Demi Vance drew Rangers level when she headed home from Brogan Hay’s cross.

Chloe Craig netted a 74th minute winner for Celtic, squeezing home when Olivia Chance’s free kick dropped invitingly.
