The seniors and reserves had winning starts to the senior championships in Killybegs on Sunday.
Well done to our Under 10s who fielded three teams in the Southern Board Blitz in Ardara on Saturday and well done to the B team who won the Shield. A big thanks to the Ardara for hosting and organising the games.
There was no winner of the club lotto jackpot. This week’s jackpot is €8,900. Last week’s numbers were 1, 16, 20 and 25. The winners were: €50- Annie Dean, Cruckarra, €30 - James Byrne, Carrick Upper, €20 - Peter Byrne, Largymore and Charles McLaughlin, Kill.
RED HUGH’S
The lotto numbers drawn last week were 4,3,7,5,6,8,2,1. There was no winning sequence. The lucky dip winner was Jacqueline Kelly. Lismullaghduff who won €30. This week's jackpot is €4,275.
The 100 club winner was Mark Grant Dromore who won €100.
Well done to the men who had another vital victory in the group stages of the Junior A Championship with a win over Muff.

Hard luck to our U14s and coaches in their county final on Friday evening. Over the season they played some great football and should be proud of their achievement with the majority having the u13s now to look forward to which is starting this week.
Good luck to the U-16 boys who play Glencolmcille in the All County Division Two league final this Sunday in O’Donnell Park.
The Meentycat Wind Farm Sponsored Walk is on 22rd September.
This event is a sponsored walk that the club has participated in previous years and hope to do so again this year.
SSE Airtricity will make a substantial donation from their company’s community fund to our club.
The donation made to our club will depend on many walkers we have representing the club. The more walkers we have along with the money we raise in sponsorship the more funding we receive. We are asking all of our players, parents and family to participate in the walk. We are also asking parents, relatives and friends to take part. Any child under 12 needs to be accompanied by an adult and it is the responsibility of the adult to make the decision if it is suitable for their child to participate.
ST EUNAN'S
The Seniors and Reserves hosted Gaoth Dobhair on Sunday in their opening games in the 2018 Championship. The seniors lost by a point and the reserves ran out convincing winners.
The minor boys footballers claimed a third title in four years last Wednesday when defeating Naomh Padraig, Muff in the Co. Championship final.
The minor girls footballers began their championship campaign away to Aodh Ruadh, Ballyshannon on Saturday morning and turned in a good performance to record a big win.
The U16 Hurlers were beaten in the ‘A’ League final by a strong Setanta team on Thursday night.
The U9 Boys travelled to Glenswilly on Saturday morning for the Laurence McGinty Cup and went all the way to the final before losing out in extra-time to the hosts. The U11s and U9s are due to host St. Michael’s this Saturday morning, time tbc.
The club had several players on the Donegal U14 camogie team at the weekend that competed in the All-Ireland blitz in Abbottstown in Dublin and the team was also co-managed by our own Joe Kealy.
The Gaelic For Mothers & Others (G4MO) train every Wednesday between 7:30 pm and 8:30pm and any new players are welcome. The team are holding a fundraising table quiz in Arena 7 this Thursday (September 13th) and any spot prizes and support are welcome.
A great day was had by all in attendance on Saturday for the Family Fun & Health Day in the Park. Well done to Eugene Duffy and everyone that helped him to pull this marvellous day together.
FOUR MASTERS
There was no winner of the lotto jackpot on €7100 on Monday night. The €50 winners in the lucky dip were Anne Timoney, The Heeney's and Tracey Clarke, Drumcliff.

There was no winner of this weeks lotto jackpot. The numbers drawn were 8, 17, 26 and 28. A number of people match two numbers. Five people were drawn and will each receive €20.

REALT NA MARA
Congratulations to Tina Conway, Athlone, Co Westmeath who this week picked the correct five numbers and in the process won our Bunotto Jackpot of €1200. The winning numbers were 2, 7, 8, 14 and 17. This week's jackpot will start again at €1000.
The U10s travelled to Ardara to compete in the finals day for all the teams in the South of the county and returned home with silverware in both the Division 2 A and B competitions.
The U14s also claimed silverware when they defeated Killybegs in their Divisional Shield final in Ballintra.
The U13s lost out narrowly to St Nauls.
The seniors and reserves began their Championship campaigns on Sunday at home to Burt.

The U9 girls defeated Cardonagh on Thursday evening. The team was; Niamh Doherty, Aoibheann Hegarty, Niamh Kearney, Hannah Duffy, Katie Dougan, Margaret Sharkey, Naoise Rose Kelly, Cassie Houston, Molly Doherty, Jane Lynch, Chloe Grant, Eabha McGonigle, Sophie Strain and Annie Mc Gonigle
Well done to the U9 boys who played in Glenswilly on Saturday and were delighted to have the mighty Michael Murphy referee their match.
The U12 played in the Dungiven tournament on Saturday. They defeated Dungiven and Galbally and lost to Banagher. They defeated Ballinderry, in the quarter final and Portglenone in the semi-final.
They went on to defeat Dungiven in the final. The Buncrana 2006's competed in the cup competition and traveled with a very depleted side. The 2006 team lost to Dungiven, Banagher, Galbally

ST NAUL’S
The U13 defeated Four Masters on Monday evening. Congratulations to the U10 girls who won the Shield trophy in Ardara.
All under 4,5 and 6 are welcome to Inver Community Centre on Saturday. Class is €2 per child and please bring a drink with you.
Congratulations to our reserves who won against Naomh Columba in the first round of the championship. The seniors lost against Naomh Columba. They went down by a point.
AODH RUADH
Aodh Ruadh got their intermediate championship bid off to the ideal start with an away win over Naomh Muire.
The reserves had a comfortable win on the road at Annagry.
It wasn't to be for the under 14s in their county final last Friday as a hungrier Dungloe side took the county title.
For many of the under 14s attention rapidly turned to the under 13 league with the first game of the programme taking place against Ardara on Monday evening in Fr Tierney Park. The homesters played well and ran out 2-10 to 1-10 winners.
The under 10s travelled to Ardara last Saturday for a blitz in Pearse Memorial Park. Our 2008 lads where in a tough group with Kilcar and Naomh Conaill. The Glenties side in particular were very strong. Finishing bottom of the group Aodh Ruadh faced Dungloe in the plate final. Dungloe were much better in first half, but we dug deep in the second half to draw the game at full-time. In extra time Ballyshannon really pushed hard to win the game by a point. Captain Fionn Hartin accepted the plate on behalf of the team.
The 2009 boys played Naomh Conaill and Kilcar in the group stages. They won both games and finished top of the group. They then faced Four Masters, in the final where they lost by a point.
The under 10 team and management would like to extend their condolences to Andy Brennan on his father's sad passing. Ar dheis Dé go raibh a anam uasal.
Ladies - Aodh Ruadh minors had their opening game of the season on Saturday morning against St Eunan's in Fr Tierney Park. Despite a great deal of good defending from Aodh Ruadh the visitors ran out comfortable winners.
Hurling - The under 16s played Buncrana in the A league shield final in Father Tierney Park on Sunday. Our lads showed great character and tremendous heart for the last 15 minutes and every one of the 16 boys played their part in a great victory. A delighted Aodh Ruadh captain Senan Rooney accepted the trophy from club secretary Lisa McTernan.
A date for your diaries as the club teams up with Ballyshannon Musical Society for a major fund-raiser this autumn. Friday 12th October sees Aodh Ruadh and the Musical Society join forces to stage a Lip Sync Battle in the Great Northern Hotel, Bundoran. Anyone interested in taking part and strutting their stuff can contact Lisa McTernan on 086-2338636.

TIR CHONAILL GAELS
Last week's lotto draw winners were; Liam Cunningham (TCG Juniors), Pierce Ronan (TCG Juniors), Paddy Bourke (TCG).
The jackpot was not won and now stands at £2,200. The seniors defeated North London Shamrocks last Tuesday evening. Killian Butler and Eoin Murray scored the goals for the Gaels.
The Juniors were awarded a walkover by Moindearg last Thursday evening in the Division Three league and are now through the league final.
The ABC’s were a great success for all clubs involved. Our TCG girls U12 won the shield, the U14s were cup finalists and the U16 reached the cup semi-finals. The U11 boys won four out of five games before losing the final. The U13s won three out of four games before losing to St Brendans.
The U15 boys only picked two points and played extremely well in the quarter final against Parnells.
Thanks to all of the coaches and committee for their fantastic help and support over the weekend including all the parents and families who turned out to support the players.
IORRAS
The Match "N" Win numbers drawn last week were 8, 11, 18 and 19. The jackpot was not won. This week's jackpot is €6,020.

The minor girls made the long journey to Glen on Saturday to play their first game against Naomh Columba, no luck for the girls in their opening game.

The Under 9 girls beat Steelstown on Friday night while the Under 11 girls lost. The minor girls put in a great team performance but lost out in their first game of the season to Sean MacCumhaill. The under 13 boys beat Buncrana last Tuesday and Urris on Sunday.

Both the reserves and seniors opened their championship campaigns with wins over Milford away on Saturday evening.
The thirds played championship on Friday with a derby game versus Glenfin in MacCumhaill Park and drew with Glenfin.
The minor ladies got their campaign off to a winning start in MacCumhaill Park on Sunday morning against Malin.
There was no winner of this week’s lotto. The numbers drawn were 3, 7,16 and 24. There was no match 3 winner. Ann Laverty, Drumboe, Bernie Doherty, Ard McCool and Darren McGarrigal, Drumkeen were drawn and will receive €50 each. This week’s jackpot is €8,800.

Naomh Brid seniors were saved in the nick of time with an equalising goal by Cian Gallagher on Saturday evening in Glenfin.
Despite a loss, the reserves really pulled together well as a team. It was hard to get ahead after three well taken goals by Glenfin.

It was with great sadness that we learned about the tragic passing last Thursday evening, of our esteemed club member, Francie Browne.
May Francie rest in peace. Sympathy is extended from all at the Club to Kathleen, Conor, Hayley and their extended family and friend. Ar dheis Dé go raibh a h-anam dhilís.
As a mark of respect to the Browne family, our championship games were postponed last weekend.
The minor footballers bowed out of the Division Two Championship after they were defeated by Fanad Gaels on Wednesday evening in Convoy.
Letterkenny Gaels U-8/10 camogs took part in a very enjoyable blitz hosted by Burt on Friday evening. The girls had competitive games against Na Magha from Derry, St Eunan's and host club Burt.
Well done to the Gaels camogie girls and mentors who took part in the All Ireland Camogie blitz at the weekend in Dublin.
Well done to the U-13 footballers who got their league season off to a good start with a victory over St. Eunans at O’Donnell Park on Monday evening.
Commiserations to our U-14 boys who lost their recent match against Downings.
The U9s competed in the annual Laurence McGinty Memorial Cup in Glenswilly on Saturday morning past. We had two team competing. Kevin McGarvey's U9 team lost out in the semi - final to a very strong St. Eunan's team. But they made amends by overcoming Buncrana in the 3rd/4th place play off. Declan Barrett's U9 team overcame their Letterkenny neighbours, St Eunan's, in the semi-final but finished runner up to a very strong Glenswilly team in the final.
Letterkenny Gaels would like to thank Paddy McAteer and the Glenswilly GAA club for their kind hospitality in hosting the event.

KILLYBEGS
We would like to thank everybody who took part in the Jamsie Boyle Memorial tournament. The senior and reserves lost their first round championship games to Kilcar. The minor girls lost away to Milford.
The U13 boys had a good win over Kilcar in Towney, on Monday evening.
The Lotto numbers drawn last week were 3,8,25,29. The jackpot was not won. This week's jackpot is €4,850Paul Molloy,Stragar and Sinead Kelly,Millrock matched two numbers and won €30 each.
