Glenfin take the league points against Naomh Columba in Pairc na nGael

Glenfin, thanks to a good first half, took the league points on their visit to Pairc na nGael on Sunday.

Even though Ryan Gillespie opened the scoring for the home team, Glenfin were 0-5 to 0-1 ahead on 10 minutes and led by 0-7 to 0-2 at one stage in the first half before the locals hit back to leave it 0-8 to 0-4 at the break.
The second half was a much closer affair and Naomh Columba got back within a point (0-9 to 0-8) with 12 minutes left, but Glenfin, thanks to points from the impressive Gerard Ward, Gary Dorrian and Ciaran Brady, closed out the game.
In a well contested match, handled well by Val Murray, Aaron McGlynn was shown a black card.
